Description
TARGETED: Restylane® EYELIGHT™targets tired-looking eyes
A treatment targeting the tear trough area is Restylane® EYELIGHT™, an injectable hyaluronic acid-based filler. Restylane® EYELIGHT™ treats the root cause of the problem – the lack of volume – by filling up the groove.2,3
Once the groove is reduced and the area smoothed out, light will reflect from the tear trough area. Instead of tired-looking eyes, you will have bright eyes, and you will look well-rested.
TRUSTED: The trusted NASHA® technology produces ideal gels for the tear trough
Restylane® EYELIGHT™ has the right gel properties for treating the tear trough.2,3
To produce Restylane® EYELIGHT™, a cross-linking technology is used, called NASHA. With this technology you only make a very small modification of the hyaluronic acid to produce the gel.
The NASHA cross-linking technology produces firmer gels that are ideal for the tear trough area to treat tired-looking eyes.2,3
One thing which is good to know is that RESTYLANE®’s NASHA gel technology has been trusted by healthcare practitioners for over 25 years.4 More than 50 million treatments with RESTYLANE® fillers have been performed to date, including tear trough treatments to combat tired-looking eyes.4
RECOMMENDED: Healthcare practitioners recommend Restylane® EYELIGHT™
Restylane® EYELIGHT™ is recommended by leading healthcare practitioners around the world.2,3 Restylane® EYELIGHT™ was recently investigated in a clinical study comprising women between 23 and 68 years of age.2 The study showed that:
- 83% were satisfied or extremely satisfied with their tear trough treatment. Remember that in many cases, tired-looking eyes cannot be solved with a filler under the eye only. Despite that, the overall satisfaction in the study was very high.
- 82.9% still saw a noticeable improvement 6.5 months after treatment. As has been explained, your body will gradually break down the tear tough filler – how fast differs from person to person. The study clearly shows, however, that overall, the effect is long-lasting.
- 94.3% would recommend the treatment to a friend and repeat the treatment.
Will it hurt? I don’t like needles…
A tear trough treatment only takes a few minutes. Restylane® EYELIGHT™ contains a local anesthetic, lidocaine, that takes away most of the pain. Your healthcare practitioner can also apply a cream or gel that contains lidocaine on your skin before treatment.
In general, the treatment will be quick with minimal discomfort and requires no downtime, so you can go back to your daily activities right after.
What are the side effects?
Side effects are normally mild and disappear within a week or two. Remember to discuss all potential side effects with your healthcare practitioner before the treatment.
How long will the treatment last?
How long-lasting it will be can vary from person to person, but a treatment typically lasts several months.2 Some people tend to break down the hyaluronic acid faster than others. Restylane® EYELIGHT™ is long-lasting but not permanent, which means that you can adjust and fine-tune your tear trough treatment over time.
Remember that the tear trough is a delicate area. You should therefore consult a qualified healthcare practitioner for this treatment. This is immensely important!
