TARGETED: Restylane® EYELIGHT™targets tired-looking eyes

A treatment targeting the tear trough area is Restylane® EYELIGHT™, an injectable hyaluronic acid-based filler. Restylane® EYELIGHT™ treats the root cause of the problem – the lack of volume – by filling up the groove.2,3

To produce Restylane® EYELIGHT™, a cross-linking technology is used, called NASHA. With this technology you only make a very small modification of the hyaluronic acid to produce the gel.

A tear trough treatment only takes a few minutes. Restylane® EYELIGHT™ contains a local anesthetic, lidocaine, that takes away most of the pain. Your healthcare practitioner can also apply a cream or gel that contains lidocaine on your skin before treatment.

In general, the treatment will be quick with minimal discomfort and requires no downtime, so you can go back to your daily activities right after.

Side effects are normally mild and disappear within a week or two. Remember to discuss all potential side effects with your healthcare practitioner before the treatment.

How long-lasting it will be can vary from person to person, but a treatment typically lasts several months.2 Some people tend to break down the hyaluronic acid faster than others. Restylane® EYELIGHT™ is long-lasting but not permanent, which means that you can adjust and fine-tune your tear trough treatment over time.
